Empathy Japan Co., Ltd is recognizing that significance and social responsibility of handling personal information related to companies’ and products’ PR, PR consulting, contents production and educational services we undertake, and operating to be firmly fixed a privacy management system (PMS) with us on a daily basis. We observe “Act on the Use of Numbers to Identify a Specific Individual in Administrative Procedures” (hereinafter called Law number), “Act on the Protection of Personal Information” (hereinafter called Personal Information Protection Act) and “JIS Q15001:2006 a privacy management system- Requirements”, and provide hereby this policy as a company handling personal information.

a. Appropriate Acquisition, Use and Provision of Personal Information

We appropriately acquire and use personal information from customers or kinds of personal information including specified personal information concerning employment related to companies’ and products’ PR, PR consulting, contents production and educational services within the scope from the purpose specified in advance, and implement proper measures not to handle personal information beyond such scope unnecessary (in unintended use) for achieving the purpose use.

b. Compliance with Laws and Regulations

We comply with the laws, directions, and regulation ordered by the government including “Law number” and “Personal Information Protection Act” or codes in connection with the handling of personal information.

c. Security Control Measures

At the same time we prevent unauthorized access to personal information, leakage, loss or damage of personal information, take preventive and corrective measures against inappropriate affairs.

d. Responding to complaints and consultation

Regarding complaints and consultation in connection with handling of our “PMS” from customers, we respond them promptly with respect their rights as well as establish an internal regulations.

e. Continuous Improvement on Protection of Personal Information

By offering enhanced employee education and equipment of monitoring operation, we carry out continuous auditing and improvements of PMS.
